Please forgive my absence on the blog. There were book printers to hassle with, fights in the family to resolve (thankfully all offline), and a funeral to attend last weekend. In short, life was a total pain in the ass.

For the most part, things are resolved now. So I thought I would clue you in on some updates.

First, for KickStarter backers of Johnson & Sir: The Collected Comics, the book WILL get printed – I finally heard back from the company. Turns out some of their machines broke so they needed repairs. Things will get moving. I was hoping books would be ready by Christmas, but it looks like we won’t make that deadline. Here’s hoping books will get done before the end of the year!

Second, and this is dramatic news…

Seeing Him is ending by year’s end. Unfortunately, Kia (the writer on the project) and I had a falling out, and she requested the comic end by page 45. I’m going to respect these wishes.

To make up for the sudden end, and for the two-week hiatus due to the funeral and other family drama, Seeing Him will update on Tuesdays and Thursdays again. Yes, I know this is only applicable for two weeks, but dangit, you earned it for being so supportive and patient with me.

Third, because of Seeing Him coming to an unexpected end, the Patreon made to support it will get re-purposed for something to come next year. Patrons will be the first to hear what it will be, but stay tuned for news from me on that front.

I’m planning next year already – convention appearances, new prints and comics to come, new secrets for Patrons of Validation and the secret project(s), new personal goals… there is mad science in abundance here at my studio!

In the meantime, there’s a new T-shirt available on my Society6 shop for lovers of silly fights involving dinosaurs and lasers.

Also, I am available for last-minute commissions if you want to make a custom present for someone in your life. My rates are here, or click on “Commissioned Work” at the top of this website.

That’s all for now. Thank you for reading!

You. Are. Awesome.
