Happy Holidays! Here’s a Free Desktop Wallpaper

Happy holidays! I have here a free desktop wallpaper for you to download – fit for the season.

Now, full disclosure, my Fan Club peeps got the first download. (They also get a ton of other exclusive wallpaper downloads as thanks for their pledges.) This one in particular, though, I went, “This is too cute – everyone should have it!”

So here’s the link to download it from my Ko-Fi shop…

For 2024, I want to offer monthly freebies to folks much like this offering. These freebies would include phone wallpapers and hi-res coloring pages. If you would like to get freebies next year, sign up for the email newsletter! The freebies will be shared there.

To get exclusive phone and desktop wallpapers (and early access to my webcomics to boot!), be sure to pledge on Ko-Fi and become a Fan Club member! If Ko-Fi isn’t your speed, you can pledge directly through my Fan Club Page.

Oh! You can also watch how I drew this wallpaper by checking out two videos: This one shows the pencils and inks while I talk about my Inktober social media experiment…

And here is an archived live stream where I show the coloring process!

That’s all for now. Happy Holidays, and I’ll see you in 2024!

Be safe. Because you. Are. Awesome.

Commission – Violet Bit Kitten

a commission art shows Violet Bit Kitten, a cute girl with pale skin, gold glasses, and purple eyes, wearing a purple dress with purple hair. Her cat ears are also purple.

Check out this commission I finished for Violet Bit Kitten!

Violet Bit Kitten asked me to draw her VTuber persona, and I was happy to get such a cutie to draw. If you would like to see how I drew her, check out this live-stream replay on YouTube.

(Be sure to subscribe to Violet Bit Kitten, as well. She’s a pretty chill streamer!)

I love drawing characters! If you would like me to draw a commission for you, I’m available. Here’s a page with more info.

That said, I do recognize that funds might be tight. But if you have a membership of $5/month on Ko-Fi or Fan Clubs, you get exclusive discounts on my commissions (plus other perks)! Sometimes commission spots are available on Crowdfunding campaigns, like Mr. Dino Pride Keychains on Crowdfundr. (By the way, you have UNTIL OCT 6 to get Mr. Dino merch.)

That’s all for now. Thank you for your support!

Punk Rock Daniel (An Art Post)

a young blonde man with lightly spiked hair winks and smiles at the viewer, with one hand making a "rock" symbol. He wears a green vest with torn sleeves and a pink heart patch on one side. He has a guitar case strung on his back.

This is Daniel Scouter in punk rock looks…because why not? I wanted to draw him, Jamie Roberts, and Thomas Doran in punk looks.

I drew him (and the other two) traditionally with Copic markers and Zebra brush pens. It was refreshing to work traditionally after years of digital work!

Daniel (and Thomas and Jamie) will be stickers for those who back The Legend of Jamie Roberts, volume 2 on Crowdfundr. Yes, the campaign is STILL running! We have hit our main goal and now we’re working towards our stretch goals!

The Legend is on Crowdfundr UNTIL SEPT 1. Your window of time to back this campaign and pre-order volume 2 is closing, yo.

If you’re broke, share this post. Shares help more than you know.

That’s all for now. Thank you for your support!

From Sketch to Finished: The Cover for The Legend of Jamie Roberts, Volume 2

Today, I want to show a piece of art from a sketch to the finished piece. This time, it’s the cover art for The Legend of Jamie Roberts, volume 2. (It’s still on Crowdfundr, by the way! Get a pre-order of the book while you can.)

Here’s the initial sketch that I drew in 2015…

Here’s a redraw of the same sketch, drawn in 2020…

Here is final art I made for the cover art of Volume 2…

I can’t help it, I love this art.

In fact, I love it so much that I want to see how you color this. Here is a link to download the line art. If you color this, tag me on Instagram @kelcidcomics or Ko-fi @kelcidcrawford.

And don’t forget that The Legend of Jamie Roberts, Volume 2 is still on Crowdfundr! Pre-order your copy and help us reach our goals.

That’s all for now. Thank you for scrolling!

New Art for DILFs (Demons I’d Love to F***)

For July, I have been making new art for DILFs, or Demons I’d Love to F***.

Why? It was kind of a dare from Junior Vigorito, aka vigoburrito on Instagram. We were tabling at GalaxyCon and we were talking about zines we could make. One of those zine ideas was “DILFs and Demons.” And I went, “Why Not Both?”

So I started drawing DILFs, but instead of Dads, it’s Demons.

The full zine will be available for my Fan Club members. But I can give you some teasers! Here are a few DILFs from the upcoming zine…

a blue-skinned demon smiles at the viewer while a teal orb floats above his hand. His horns are segmented and float above his head. His long black hair falls in one long wave down his back. He's dressed like a bard from Dungeons and Dragons.
A demon woman with dark blue skin wears a white veil that hides her eyes, but not her smile. Her long black hair cascades down her back, her golden horns floating above her head. She wears a flowing white dress with teal accents, as well as dark purple boots.

More DILFs will be posted soon. Some more are already up on Ko-Fi for one-time tippers AND regular members to see.

As mentioned before, all the DILFs I draw this month will be gathered into one zine, which will be available for Fan Club members to download. You can join on Ko-Fi or on the official Fan Clubs page.

I’m in the midst of shaking up my methods of sharing art on the regular with folks, so bear with me – feel free to share this post, too!

That’s all for now. Come back soon for more art!

Thanks for reading.
