Drawing the Puppet Master – Fighting Game Concept Art – An Archived Twitch Stream

This originally aired on my Twitch channel on August 20, 2022.

I’m revisiting a personal project – drawing character concept art for a fighting game! This character is the Puppet Master archetype.

Want to see more character concept art? Want to see it drawn live? Head on over to my Twitch channel and follow me there! I stream Tuesdays and Saturdays at 2 pm EST (except during conventions or if I’m sick).

If you miss any of the streams, they get archived on my YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe – other video projects will drop between stream updates.

And be sure to subscribe to this blog. I post the character concept art I make on Twitch and post it here. Like with Charlie.

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS:

I’m at Small Press Expo this weekend! Sept 17 and 18 in Bethesda, MD. Find me at table D8, side B. Hope to see you there!

Can’t make it? But want some of my merch? Head over to the Dragon Baby Pride Keychain Crowdfundr! You have UNTIL SEPT 18 to back the campaign and get keychains, stickers, and art.

That’s all for now. Thank you for watching and reading!

Comicon at Home – An Archived Twitch Live Stream

This originally aired on my Twitch channel on August 14. Why a Sunday? Because I had plans to be at a local, one-day comicon…but they canceled the show without notifying me.

So I went, “FINE! I’ll set my work up at home and stream it online! We’ll have more fun, anyway!” And then we did. Comicon at home was a success!

Everything (or dang near everything) I show in this stream is available on my Ko-Fi shop!

By the way – I extended the Dragon Baby Pride Keychain campaign! You now have until Sept 18 to get one of your own. I go into why I extended the window in a recent campaign update.

Thank you for watching.

BOYS – a Dragonball Z and Lizzo Fan Video

…I really like my Dragonball Z boys.

Song Copyright to Lizzo and her records. Dragonball, Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT are owned by Funimation, Toei Animation, Sueisha, and Akira Toriyama.

Did I really make a fan project for an old anime? Yes. Because I fucking love this show.

I drew the drawing animations and image stills in Clip Studio Paint. The final video editing got done with Olive, an open-source video editing software. I used Olive for the first time for something this complex, and I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of using it!

Thank you for watching.

Available for Pre-Order for 3 DAYS ONLY – Dragon Baby Pride Keychains

dragon baby pride keychain crowdfundr ad for three days only

They’re here – and they need your support!

For folks who liked my blue baby dragon keychains, you’re gonna LOVE these new Pride Baby keychains! They’re the same size as the blues, roughly 2 inches square (not counting the keyring). Plus they’re printed on one side in sturdy, clear acrylic. They also come with a protective film on the front to save the babies from scratches.

Why make a Dragon Baby keychain with LGBTQ+ pride colors? Well, to let folks know that they’re not alone. That they can be brave AND adorable at the same time. And if people take issue with that? Well, a baby dragon is still a dragon. Never meddle in their affairs (for humans are crunchy and good with ketchup).

Anyway, these babies are now up on Crowdfundr for 3 DAYS ONLY!

Why Crowdfundr?

While Crowdfundr is new (to me, and I’m sure to you, too), they’re actually sponsoring this year’s Small Press Expo – a show I’m going to!

I also spoke with a representative from Crowdfundr. These folks have worked with other comics artists, so they know what creators like me (and patrons like you) are looking for in a campaign.

Also…the platform is smooth as heck to work in. AND you can mix and match your own reward bundles!

Do you want just a keychain? You can do that. Or maybe a sticker, keychain, AND a painting? You can do that, too! Want 15 keychains and a page from Dragons: A Sketchbook? Make it happen! I’m already in love with Crowdfundr because of this mix-and-match reward system alone.

I hope you give this new platform a try – and I hope you support these Dragon Baby Pride Keychains!

If you’re broke, check out the campaign and click the share buttons. There are a TON of options, yo.

That’s all for now. Thank you for your support!

Drawing a Flamingo Knight from Start to Finish – an Archived Live Stream

This stream originally aired on Twitch on August 11. I’m sharing the archived recording on YouTube so you can see how I drew this fancy boi flamingo knight from start to finish!

If you would like to support future streams, consider making a one-time donation on PayPal.

I used OBS to stream, and Clip Studio Paint to draw my work. If you have more questions, leave a comment and I’ll answer as soon as I can.

That’s all for now. Thank you for tuning in!
