Time for some updates that aren’t related to the KickStarter for Johnson & Sir: The Collected Comics (which is going really well and you should totally show some support by checking it out, wink wink. Ok I’m done).

In the realm of the other comics, things are going really, REALLY well, actually. First…

Validation!

We’re still going strong, as is the Patreon. In the next week and a half I’ll be making a new Mr. Dino Mini-Comic exclusively for Patreon backers at the $10 level. Keep an eye out for that!

Seeing Him!

It’s now into Chapter 2! Holy banana pants! Thank you to the KickStarter backers and Patreon supporters for keeping this webcomic going. Kia and I have some ideas to continue into Chapter 3 and possibly into the end of the comic. No spoilers. ;)

Keep an eye on the Gumroad page around October 15th – there’s going to be a special Seeing Him product that’ll make an appearance there that day.

And Other Comics!

I’ve finished the first draft of The Uthers (working title), the story of an autistic engineer searching for the cyborg that killed her father in a city colonized by aliens. Now that the first draft is finished, I’m going to let that sit while I work on the following comics:

Thoughtful Dinosaur‘s first draft is written, so I just need to go through and edit it.

Prisoner (working title) is the story of a high school girl and her TAG (talented and gifted) students trapped in a haunted, abandoned school. I’m currently writing the first draft of that and writing Chapter 3. I’m anticipating this comic to be short, like around 4 or 5 chapters. We’ll see what happens.

The Legend of Jamie Roberts is in its FINAL Draft. Thank goodness. I’ve been working on this story for close to seven years now. I’m working on it off and on. Right now I’m more focused on Prisoner and Thoughtful Dinosaur.

Everything else personal-project-wise is on hold until I knock out Prisoner and Thoughtful Dinosaur. The plan is to finish the process of both by mid-November, and then work on The Legend of Jamie Roberts during December.

Wait, What About Charlie & Clow?

charlie and clow preview

Ok, I have some bad (ish) news.

Charlie & Clow… is finished.

I know I had made the announcement on the site that it would return on October 7, and it sort of will (I’ll explain in a minute).

But right now, other projects are drawing my attention more than Charlie & Clow’s story. That, and I feel that the story works well as a one-shot comic. So, it’s going to stay that way.

I may revisit the story at a future date, but for the time being, it’s going to be finished.

With that said, October 7 is going to be the release of two secret Charlie & Clow comics. When it’s ready to go, check out the site, because the announcements will be made there.

Any Other Cool Stuff Coming?

Hm… We’ll see. I have plans to bring the vlogs back, now that I have some time again to do that sort of thing. Featured Artist Friday isn’t ready to come back quite yet, but it should return sometime around November (that’s the goal, anyway).

First and foremost, though, comics take priority. There’s a lot of fun stuff coming and I’m enjoying making it! I can’t wait to show it to y’all once everything’s ready to go.

That’s all for now. Thank you for reading!

You. Are. Awesome.
