Let me answer some questions first.
“People are still on DeviantArt?”
Yes, they are. In fact, there’s quite a LOT of people on that site just ready to like your work.
“Where’s your page on the site?”
Here. I’m thinking that even though I’m leaving, I’ll still leave my page online so people can find me and my work.
“Why do you want to leave DeviantArt?”
There’s a few reasons.
- I don’t go on DeviantArt as often as, say, Twitter or Tumblr, or even Pinterest.
- A lot of the functions that DeviantArt has are already accomplished by other sites – Tumblr allows favorites and notes, Pinterest allows sharing, Twitter allows conversations, etc.
- People aren’t as active on DeviantArt as they used to be. Most of the folks I follow and admire are not on that site anymore.
“I’m already on DeviantArt! If you leave, where can I find your work?!”
Well, I’ll still leave my page on DeviantArt, at least for a while. I just won’t be posting any new work on there.
My new work can be found here on the blog, or on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, or Pinterest.
If you want to see it before anybody else, you can support me on Patreon. And if you want extra comics, or to stay in the loop on sales and when I’m available for commissions, that’s what my newsletter is for.
If you have any other questions that I didn’t address, leave a comment below and I’ll answer to the best of my ability.
