Drawing Beefcakes 2: Electric Boobalo – Halsin from Baldur’s Gate 3

Charlie, the All-Rounder – Fighting Game Concept Art

This is Charlie!

This character stars in my comics Charlie & Clow, Charlie & Clow: The Bonus Arc, and The Case of the Wendigo. I also decided to include her in a fighting game concept as part of the character line-up.

To me it only makes sense. In the comics, she’s a student of Tae Kwon Do. So why not have her put that to use in a fighting game?

She was the first character I drew as part of the character line-up for this game idea. After sketching a few ideas, I went with this pose. It captures her attitude well, I think. And then I drew her in every stage on Clip Studio Paint. (This was before I discovered the timelapse feature in Clip Studio, so sadly, I have no timelapse animation of drawing her, like I do most of the other characters).

I’ll be posting more character art as time goes on. So stay tuned!

BOYS – a Dragonball Z and Lizzo Fan Video

…I really like my Dragonball Z boys.

Did I really make a fan project for an old anime? Yes. Because I fucking love this show.

I drew the drawing animations and image stills in Clip Studio Paint. The final video editing got done with Olive, an open-source video editing software. I used Olive for the first time for something this complex, and I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of using it!

Witch’s Study – A Finished Illustration

FINALLY. After multiple live streams and many months, this illustration piece – The Witch’s Study – is complete.

Why did it take so long? Well, aside from having multiple jobs happening at once… the patterns. And the details. This piece has so. Many. Details.

I’m glad I made this in Clip Studio Paint. It made the process much faster.

This piece had a lot of love and effort put into it, and I’m very pleased with how it came out.

By the way, The Witch’s Study will be appearing in the Kitties By Kelci Redbubble shop very soon. Once it’s live, I’ll update this post with a link.
